What we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: October 9, 2026
SAY Immigration (“we”, “us”) is a Canadian immigration consulting practice led by Tamara Konoval, a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC R711465). This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
It applies to this website. If you become a client, your file is also protected by our professional duty of confidentiality and by your written service agreement.
1. What we collect
Information you give us. When you use a form on this website, or contact us by email, phone, WhatsApp or Telegram, we receive the information you choose to send. Depending on the form, this can include:
- your name, email address, phone number and preferred language;
- your message and the service you are interested in;
- for the assessment form: country of residence and citizenship, age range, family situation, education, language test results, work experience, immigration status and history, and any concern about admissibility (such as a criminal record or medical condition) that you choose to share;
- for the review form: your review, the service you used and how you want your name shown.
Technical information. Like most websites, the servers that host this site record technical details of each visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and the pages requested. We use this to deliver the site and keep it secure.
This website does not currently use advertising trackers or analytics cookies. See our cookie policy.
2. How we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and book consultations;
- to review your situation and tell you which immigration routes may suit you;
- to provide services you have asked for, and to meet legal and regulatory obligations;
- to publish a client review, only with your permission;
- to keep this website working, secure and useful.
3. Your consent
When you submit a form, you consent to our collecting, using and sharing the information in it for the purposes above. We ask only for what we need. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us, subject to legal and contractual limits. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer help with your request.
4. When we share it
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it only:
- with service providers that help us run the website and handle email, who may use it only to provide those services;
- with Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and other authorities, when you have retained us and asked us to act for you;
- with education or other partners, only if you ask us to or agree to it;
- with our regulator, the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, courts or other authorities, when the law requires it.
5. Where it is stored and accessed
We work with clients in Canada and abroad, and we meet clients online. Your information may therefore be processed or accessed outside Canada, including by providers that use servers in other countries. Laws in those places can differ from Canadian law, and authorities there may be able to access the information.
6. How we protect it
We use reasonable physical, organizational and technical safeguards, and we limit access to people who need it to do their work. No method of sending information over the internet is completely secure, so please share only what you need to.
7. How long we keep it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes above and as long as the law and our regulator’s rules require. We delete or anonymize enquiries that did not lead to a client engagement when we no longer need them.
8. Your rights
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, withdraw your consent, or challenge how we handle it. Write to info@sayimmigration.com. We will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you live outside Canada, you may have additional rights under your local laws, and we will respect them.
9. Email and marketing
We send newsletters or promotional messages only with your consent, and every one includes a way to unsubscribe. Replying to your enquiry is not marketing.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children. If you send us information about a minor, for example for a study permit or custodianship, you confirm that you are the minor’s parent or legal guardian.
11. Links to other sites
This website links to government and other third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please read their policies.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date.
